The Stó:lo Resource Centre(SRC) was completed in 2010 in the heart of S'ólh Téméxw ('Our World; Our Land') on the Coqualeetza Grounds in Chilliwack, B.C. Prior site of the Coqualeetza Residential School. Based on the traditional form of Qoqolaxel (the innovative inverted gable 'Watery-Eaves' longhouse at the junction of the Chilliwack & Fraser valleys), the Stó:lo People built a Siy:ám House; a place of respect, a place of culture, knowledge, economy, & sharing.

When you have the privilege to approach a building that Mr. Stewart has designed, the first human reaction is to take a long deep breath & sigh as you are about to enter a park. You can feel your body in hale the natural elements that put humans at peace like sitting in a forest.

Patrick Stewart is certified as a "LEED" (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) Accredited Professional. Patrick's designs create long-term value, & exemplify an economic & environmental approach to sustainable development.
